A few days ago, I started to get the feeling I needed to spend the first hour of New Years Day praying. So from 11:59 Decmber 31st, 2008 through 01:01 January 1st, 2009 I will pray.

I believe this is a time of dedication for the upcoming year and the fruit that will be produced in it.

I believe it to be a time of "rededication" of our lives, to the will of the "God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob".

I also believe this will be a time of breakthrough in peoples' lives.

Exodus 23:19 states "The first of the firstfruits of thy ground thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God."

I feel the need to spend this time, offering the First Hour of the New Year, one of my "First Fruits" as an offering. If you do as well I hope you will join with me, spending that first hour before the throne of God. I will never know if anyone else out there joins with me in this endevor, but I don't need to. Its not about me. I would encourage Pastors, to open thier churches for this hour, not as a celebration service, but as an extension of the quiet place, a place where people can spend that first hour, the first hour of the New Year, immediatly giving to Him...thier first fruits.

For those of you visiting this page and do not know Christ, well this is a season of miracles. I pray that someone would be brought into your life, that can give you an explination of this season, as well as just how much your father in heaven loves you.
